Rapid Response
PPRC’s Rapid Response Service is dedicated to answering questions relating to prevention pollution (P2). Ask us your P2 questions – about best practices, processes, or product changes, that will reduce, eliminate, or prevent pollution at its source - prior to recycling, treatment, or disposal.
We currently have funding to offer this rapid response service to businesses, agencies, tribes, and associations within EPA Region 10 - Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. This service is grant-funded and offered at no charge.
Examples of our most recent and most read rapid response topics include:
-
Safer Sanitizers for Food Contact Surfaces (Including Uses for an Organic Farm)
-
Which disinfectants are safest, and where can I purchase them?
-
What sources of mercury are still found or used in medical care and healthcare facilities?
-
What methods are used to calculate transfer and build efficiency for spray paint operations?
