Networking is one of the tools PPRC uses to achieve its goal of promoting pollution prevention.

Northwest P2 Roundtable

PPRC organizes regular Northwest P2 Regional Roundtable meetings of Northwest P2 technical assistance providers to share information about P2 activities, projects, and information needs.

Local Networks

PPRC also works with other local networks to facilitate information sharing on various topics.

National Networks

Some issues pull PPRC to participate in national discussions, and P2 Results Measurement is one key example. PPRC's Director co-chairs the National Measurement Task Force with the Deputy Director of the Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association (NEWMOA).

On a national level, PPRC is a part of P2Rx™: the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange. P2Rx is a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (northeast), WRRC (southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), Zero Waste Network (southwest), P2RIC (plains), Peaks to Prairies (mountain), WRPPN (Pacific southwest), and PPRC (northwest). The expertise of the P2Rx network allows PPRC to provide enhanced service in the Northwest, and to work together to create resources relevant across the nation. See the P2Rx web site for more details.
