PPRC’s 2012 Regional Roundtable will focus on several regional priorities. Those community leaders, manufacturing specialists, efficiency experts, and training gurus will meet to share best practices for implementing energy efficiency projects throughout the region. PPRC will provide opportunities to shorten the learning curve about green chemistry and deepen the conversation around how toxic chemicals are impacting Puget Sound. It’s a great opportunity to network with leaders in the region, sharpen your skills, and get energized—all in a beautiful location that is the Kitsap Peninsula’s best kept secret.

LODGING & TRAVEL

Hotel information:

Participants can make their hotel reservations by calling the Clearwater Resort at 866-609-8700. Indicate you are part of the PPRC group when you make your call. The room rate is $83 per night, plus the Suquamish tax rate of 7.5% and a Kitsap Tourism Development Tax of $1.75 per room per night.

If the rooms at the Clearwater Resort are full, please call the Poulsbo Inn at 800-597-5151. This hotel is four miles away and is offering rooms for the same price if you mention that you are with the PPRC Regional Roundtable.

Additional items

The breakfast buffet at the Suquamish Clearwater Resort is available to hotel guests at no cost. If you’re not staying at the hotel, you can purchase breakfast for $7 by paying at the hotel desk. The first refreshment break will feature pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and juices. Coffee, tea, and water are available all day.

Registration for the reception on October 23 is part of your overall registration fee and covers heavy hors d’oeuvres. Soft drinks and cocktails are available for purchase at the hotel lobby bar.

Travel by Ferry

From Seattle:

Ferries leave Seattle for Bainbridge approximately every 55 minutes throughout the day. To arrive in time for the opening sessions in the morning, please plan on taking the 7:55 ferry for Bainbridge. There will be a Suquamish Clearwater Resort hotel van awaiting the ferry as you leave the terminal. Space is limited so carpooling is also encouraged. PPRC staff will be on hand to assist you.

Returning to Seattle:

Ferries leave Bainbridge at 3:50, 4:35, and 5:30 p.m. The afternoon agendas are designed to allow you to catch one of these ferries. The hotel shuttle transports guests back to the ferry terminal also. Please check with the hotel desk to let them know of your travel needs.

Vehicle under 14’ & driver: $10.55

Travel by Car

From the Seattle/Bainbridge Island Ferry

Follow Highway 305 North towards Poulsbo approximately six miles. The Resort is located just across the Agate Pass Bridge on the left.

From the Edmonds/Kingston Ferry

Take Highway 104 to Poulsbo. Turn left on Highway 305 and continue south through Poulsbo toward Bainbridge Island. The Resort is located just before the Agate Pass Bridge on the right.

From Tacoma

Take Highway 16 West to Highway 3 North towards Poulsbo. Exit at the Highway 305 Bainbridge Island exit. The Resort is located just before the Agate Pass Bridge on the right.
