boundary bay logoWednesday, September 28, is our Sustainable Craft Brewery Workshop at Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham, WA. Join us to learn about cost-effective ways to manage water, energy, and wastes. We’ve recently added a speaker from the City of Bend, Christina Davenport, who will talk about the benefits of creating collaborative relationships between cities and breweries to effectively manage wastewater. Who Should Attend? This workshop is for brewers, technical assistance providers, sustainability managers, and anyone who cares about saving money while improving the environmental operations of one of Washington’s proudest and fastest growing sectors: beer.

Why Attend? To learn about cost-effective technical assistance resources available to breweries (large and small), to share ideas and technologies, and to hear about some of the innovative steps Northwest breweries are taking to minimize their environmental impact while also saving money. Learn from peers in the industry about payback period for steam and glycol line insulation, nitrogen generation to replace carbon dioxide use, ionized air rinse to replace water, water reclamation ideas, and much more!

Tickets are only $35, and include a tour of Boundary Bay as well as a fabulous pub grub dinner. We’re also offering a discounted rate to students: $25.
