Summer Looking Bright for Solar on the Eastside

May 15, 2015

city of kirkland logoIf you’re a Kirkland resident or business owner considering solar power, then the Solarize program may be for you.

Spearheaded by the City of Kirkland, Solarize Kirkland is a neighborhood solar purchasing campaign that leverages bulk purchases to provide residents and businesses with reduced cost, headache free solar installations on homes, businesses, or multi-family units.

Solarize Kirkland is following in the successful footsteps of other Solarize Washington campaigns, including Solarize Bellevue and Solarize Mercer Island. Solarize Bellevue completed the first phase of its campaign in March and will begin the second phase of its program in early July. Solarize programs have been widely successful both regionally and nationally, saving individuals as much as 20% on average when compared to acquiring solar systems independently.
